Kathy Chamblee
My name is Kathy Chamblee. You may know me by sight rather than by name as my husband, Jim and I participate in both Holy Trinity choirs - vocals and handbells.
Jim and I are long-time residents of West Palm beach and between us we have raised three boys. In 2016 we were invited by a friend to a service at Holy Trinity; we have been here ever since. I retired in 2019 and in 2021 we were blessed with a grandchild. Life seemed busier than ever.
I enjoy a bit of “me” time by taking long walks or playing pickleball, but I truly enjoy serving our church and our community.

Bruce Robb
My wife Faye and I started our life together over twenty-five years ago in Toronto, Canada. Prior to West Palm Beach, we lived in the New York metro area and raised our family there.
Growing up, my parents were regular members of our local Anglican church. Somewhere along the line, we all stopped going. When the Alfords invited us to Holy Trinity a few years ago, it was the first time in a long time that I had been to a Sunday service.
In our time at Holy Trinity, we have come to appreciate the warm and diverse community, the incredible work the church does in Palm Beach County, and most importantly the worship and sermons, through which have come to see the world with a different lens.
While I may have always been surrounded by the grace of God, I now see and feel it for the first time.
Professionally, I am an Investment Specialist with JP Morgan Private Bank in Palm Beach, where I work with individuals, family offices and foundations. I am also the current President of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society South Florida.
I feel blessed for having discovered Holy Trinity and am honored to serve on the Vestry.

José Vives
I’m José Vives, and I’ve been part of Holy Trinity since 2018, when my family and I moved to the area and immediately felt welcomed into this parish community. My wife, Kelly, and I have been married for 23 years, and we have three children, Noah, who is 19 and attends UCF; Lily, who is 16; and Kayla, who is 12, who are current acolytes at the 11 a.m. service. I work at NextEra as a Substation Operations and Maintenance Manager, and I’m fluent in Spanish and English while continuing to learn French and Italian. Serving as a reader and an usher has helped me feel deeply connected to the worship and the people here. Outside of church, I enjoy running, cycling, and skiing, and I’m grateful for the blessing this community has been to my family and me.

Barbara Whittaker
I grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut and have been a lifelong Episcopalian. When I moved to Delray, I joined a parish and was happy there for quite a few years, but eventually felt called to a church with a stronger spiritual focus centered on Jesus. A friend and I decided to try Holy Trinity, and after that first service I knew immediately this was where I belonged.
Volunteering has always been an important part of my life. Having been deeply involved with CROS Ministries and Paul’s Place After School, I hoped to find a church with a strong outreach commitment, and Holy Trinity fits that perfectly. I love being here. The warmth and friendliness of this parish made it feel like home from the beginning, and I’ve been encouraged many friends to join me.
Getting to know R-J and DJ has been a joy. R-J’s uplifting sermons, rooted in humor and a deep love of Jesus, continually inspire me, and DJ has a gift for making Scripture come alive. I have also spent the last year ushering, forming close friendships with my fellow ushers and feeling more connected than ever.
I love this church and am truly honored to be invited to serve on the Vestry. Holy Trinity has transformed my faith and enriched my life, and I look forward to supporting the mission and ministry of this parish in every way I can.
