NOTICE TO NEW MEMBERS OF

HOLY TRINITY

When you request your letter of transfer from your previous parish, please make sure our office gets your new address and phone number. Believe it or not, transfer letters arrive at the office with only the transferor’s name, so we are unable to get in touch with you to obtain the necessary information for entry on our parishioner and mailing lists. You may also give your information to a Sunday Greeter at our Greeter Table at either the 8am or 10am service. Thank You.

UPCOMING EVENTS

VESTRY MEETING--Monday, July 21st at 5:30pm in the Parish Office Parlor.

WOMEN’S BOOK CLUB—Monday, July 21st, 7pm: Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World’s Worst Dog by John Grogan. Hostess: Janet Maby.  The meeting this month will take place in the Youth House at Holy Trinity.  Please RSVP to Janet at 762-5932. See Andrea Thomas for books, if she isn’t already sold out! Any questions about the book club, please contact Janet Maby. For those who like to read ahead, here are the upcoming books:  August: The Shell Seekers by Rosamunde Pilcher, Hostess: Jane Sturgis; September: Gift from the Sea by Ann Morrow Lindberg.

NAME TAGS FOR SALE—Every Sunday through the month of July, Lay Ministry will be offering personalized name tags for sale. The name tags will replace the stick-on tags you receive at the door. The name tags will be either magnetic or clip-on. The cost will be $7.00 (standard tag) or $8.50 (executive tag). You are requested to pay in advance for the tag when you place your order. Orders will be taken after the 8am service at the front of the church, and in front of the Gift Shop after the 10am service.

TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY—The Vestry and the Lay Ministry Commission would like to match those who need rides to church and/or various church functions with those who are able to offer a ride. If you are in need of transportation or are willing to offer a ride, please call the Parish Office (655-8650). Once we have a list, we will make every attempt to connect driver and passenger. PLEASE offer to take someone to church on Sunday. It will mean so much to those who cannot get to church on their own.

MINI BELL CAMP—”They sound so heavenly.” “I could never do that!” “It looks so hard!” The Ding-a-lings have often heard these comments. Now come and see how it is done at the Mini Bell Camp in the Youth House on July 20th, and 27th and August 3rd after the 10am services. Come one, two, or all 3 times. Requirements—ability to count to 6; know your abc’s; and, able to lift a can of coffee in either hand.

ATTENTION ALL CURSILLISTAS--July 17-20 is Women's Weekend #101 and September 25-28 is Men's Weekend #85. We have folks who will either be making their weekend or serving as the team member.  For full details, please call Janet Maby at 762-5932.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2008--RECAP MEETING--August 3rd in the Library after the 10am service. All are invited to attend to help us reflect on the past VBS and discuss how we can improve for next year.
